Effective October 15, 2026. This policy explains what J.O. Construction collects through j-o-construction.com, by phone, text and email, and how it is used.
Information we collect
Only what you send us: your name, phone number, email, the city of your property and the details of your project, through our estimate form, our text sign-up page, or by phone, text or email. Our site also uses basic, privacy-friendly visit statistics (pages viewed, no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking).
How we use it
To reply to you, schedule site visits and estimates, run your project, send the texts you signed up for, and keep the records a licensed contractor must keep.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share project details only with the people working on your project, such as a designer, engineer or the city permit office. Your mobile number and text opt-in are never shared, as explained below.
J.O. Construction is operated by J.O. Construction Groups, a California corporation, CA License #1057456.
Text messages
If you sign up for texts on our text updates page, we text you about your own project: a reply if we miss your call, estimate and site-visit scheduling, project updates, and a follow-up after the work is done. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Keeping and protecting your information
We keep project records as long as California law requires for licensed contractors, and delete other contact details when you ask. We use reasonable safeguards to protect them.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and reply STOP to any text to stop texts. California residents have the right to know, delete and opt out of the sale of personal information; we do not sell it. Email jorozco@joconstruct.com or call (951) 436-6568.
Children
Our services are for adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
